Pfizer Transportation Quality Lead/Specialist in Zaventem, Belgium

In this new position you will have the opportunity to further develop quality oversight management for our service providers. The most important tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Leading the development, implementation and support of GDP compliant quality systems with transport service providers and within Pfizer

  • Supporting routine shipment/new product launch lifecycle processes and assists with the technology transfer

  • Negotiating quality agreements terms and conditions with transportation service providers and partners

  • Proactively supporting regulatory or Pfizer-internal inspections at transport service providers and logistics centers

  • Providing quality leadership for significant deviation events or failure investigations with transport service providers

  • Providing transport quality oversight metrics and participate in relevant meetings

  • Leading quality risk management activities and manage mitigation plans within transport service providers

  • Assuring that the products supplied to our patients are conducted in accordance to GDP and Pfizer quality standards

  • Operating as a spokesperson for Pfizer; developing relationships, independently negotiating, developing and communicating Pfizer quality requirements

  • You interact with many internal business and manufacturing organizations

About you

  • Minimally BA/BS Science, Engineering or related technical discipline

  • Approximately 3-7 years as a quality specialist/senior specialist in an operational GxP setting

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical cGMPs and GDP and global governmental regulations, including US FDA and EMA

  • Advanced computer skills, MS Office and enterprise systems such as SAP, QTS, documentum platforms

  • Strong verbal and written communication including presentation skills

  • Demonstrated personal leadership to manage cross-functional projects

  • Ability to work within virtual environment

  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skillset with proven effectiveness in influencing
