As the Global Commercial Operations (GCO) leading for Australia and New Zealand, you will be responsible for:
Planning and execution of 60+ commercial operational services (Meetings & Events, Digital Channel Deployment, Knowledge & Operations, Sales & Marketing Services, Training, Process Lead for Customer Engagement Programs (CEPs) and Customer Interaction Tools (CITs) for all Business Units in ANZ
Accountable for delivering those 60+ services to all marketing and sales clients in ANZ and responsible for shaping overall GCO strategy
Serves as single point of contact to the Country Manager and all in-country Commercial Leaders for all commercial operations functions
Anticipates current and future demands to feed into strategy and direction in all GCO service areas
Responsible for all budget negotiations and funding model decision at country level during Operating Plan cycle
Leading a team of 12 professionals ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Across GCO Responsibilities
Execute across a complex multi-layer organizational BU-matrix and rapidly changing external environment
Accountable for leading the implementation of in country strategic initiatives that leverage global resources, processes and technology platforms to enhance value to GCO clients while maintaining/reducing cost
Builds sustainable collaborative working relationships across CO, Global Functions, BT and Pfizer Business Units
Leads the ANZ LT to prioritize in market GCO resources and services, based on business revenue, complexity, FF size, BU needs, ongoing business discussion and local service demand
Collaborates strongly with GCO Centers of Excellence to guarantee effective in country implementation of global standards In Country / across country responsibilities
Understands long range client strategy and ensure GCO's model is flexible and scalable to meet future business needs.
Understands Pfizer BUs strategies, business goals, commercial support needs and objectives and how they fit into the One Pfizer model.
Understands global and regional business strategy and context, and is accountable to lead implementation of global processes to enhance value to clients while maintaining or reducing overall costs.
Anticipates current and future demands and develops solutions to feed into GCO strategy and direction globally
Proactively engages with local BU Leadership Teams to ensure aligned Client-GCO strategies, resource and implementation plans, and overall investment and prioritization plans QUALIFICATIONS
Commercial business experience with P&L ownership
Bachelor degree required; MBA or equivalent Master's level education preferred
Ideally 10+ years' experience within the Pharmaceutical industry
Strong track record of leading a diverse team in a matrix organization
Demonstrated effective conflict management & negotiation skills
Experience working with different markets and different cultures
Good knowledge of bio pharma sector trends, global healthcare dynamics and economics, customer landscape, and competitor trends and action .
