As Outcomes Consultant

  • You will explore and demonstrate clinical and economic value of Pfizer's medicines to NHS customers

  • You will deliver customer value based projects

  • You will identify and generate bespoke non-interventional real-world outcomes evidence to deliver value to Pfizer and to NHS stakeholders

  • You will engage and influence variety of stakeholders and ensure that robust and high quality evidence is used to demonstrate the value propositions of our medicines.

  • You will develop a thought leadership reputation for the UK team

  • You will provide and present H&V technical information, advice and training to all relevant colleagues and to external customers

You are expected to have:

Combination of academic training and practical experience in outcomes research, epidemiology, or real world evidence generation is required. This may consist of:

  • Doctoral /masters /clinical degree in a relevant discipline e.g. health outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, economics, statistics, plus practical experience

  • Previous experience in Pharmaceutical industry in a similar role is a must

  • Practical experience in performing observational research, in any setting, including life-sciences Company, research organisation, academic institution or governmental agency, is required.

  • Familiarity with the role and importance of real world evidence, epidemiology, observational, and outcomes research in the multi-disciplinary drug development and commercialization environment and process is expected.

  • Knowledge of health economics is desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting or interpreting statistical analysis.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Broad experience in collaborating with contract research organisations and research partners in managing multiple tasks and complex projects is very desirable.

  • Record of high-quality, peer-reviewed publications is preferred.

  • Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
