Pfizer HTA Manager (Office and/or Home based) in Walton Oaks, United Kingdom
The HTA manager will support and provide technical clinical/health economic expertise for HTA submissions of pipeline assets. An ideal candidate will:

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of leading HTA submissions to NICE/SMC, are required to source, interpret, generate and disseminate high quality Health & Value information in a timely fashion to direct and support and national brand HTA activities.
HTA Information, Generation & Provision
Lead or support the sourcing, interpretation, generation and dissemination of H&V information and data for internal and external customers on across a range of business categories related to national HTA
HTA submission sponsorship and leadership
Support and/or lead the development of brand HTA strategy and ensure appropriate UK and global H&V, Medical and Commercial approvals
Support and/or lead the planning, design and execution of UK projects aligned to all national brand HTA submissions
HTA Pipeline readiness
Advise on which Health and Value measures should be included within clinical Studies to support HTA submissions
Provide technical input into economic models; evidence synthesis projects as well as pricing and HTA readiness activities
Provide health and value technical input to the strategic and operational planning process to optimise delivery of commercial objectives.
Provide and present health and value HTA technical information, advice and training to all relevant colleagues and to external customers. Enhance Pfizer's image in the market place.
Cross Functional Support
To participate and lead cross-functional projects and working groups which support the brand
Maintain HTA intelligence for aligned business category to ensure technical as well as HTA knowledge is up to date and appropriate for input into decision making processes
Manage specified budgets to ensure that expenditure matches levels agreed with Head of Health & Value
Required experience and qualification
Graduate and/or Post-graduate qualification in Health Economics (or similar);
Track-record/experience in economic modelling, outcomes research, epidemiology and/or evidence synthesis
Strong project management, communication, listening and analytical skills
Exposure to or development of HTA submissions for at least 1 or more of NICE/SMC/JCVI
Experience of commissioning and managing external vendors
Experience of stakeholder management both internal and external
Significant professional experience in similar roles
Experience in 1 or more of the following business areas, Rare disease, General Medicine, Inflammation & Immunology Vaccines or Oncology experience.
Post graduate qualification in health economics or allied discipline such as outcomes research or epidemiology.
Experience in a 2nd business area from, Rare disease, General Medicine, Inflammation & Immunology Vaccines or Oncology experience.
