Pfizer Sr Manager, Meetings & External Engagements Solution Delivery in Tampa, Florida

ROLE SUMMARY

As a team member, and in partnership with Pfizer's Meetings and External Events organization, the selected candidate will manage end-to-end delivery of applications across the Meetings External Engagements and Travel (MEET), including technology strategy, end-to-end delivery of new technical solutions, and ongoing support for existing systems. The implementation/project teams consist mostly of external resources and are also global in nature covering multiple time zones. The leader will need to work closely with the business, vendor and Pfizer D&T teams to coordinate project activities and resources to ensure that the solutions meet the business and technical criteria and are implemented on time and within budget. This role is expected to guide Agile development and DevOps framework projects managed within the MEET space.

In this role, we are looking for a dynamic colleague that is technically skilled, collaborative and has a passion for using Digital technology to solve problems. The incumbent will develop innovative and pragmatic technical solutions for the enterprise while providing the best user experience. The role will collaborate across the Digital organization to effectively implement forward thinking solutions.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate on overall Digital strategy to align with the MEET organization's goals and objectives

  • Facilitate engagement and governance with digital stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on the prioritization of business demand and solution blueprint.

  • Optimize application rationalization strategy to streamline the application portfolio and eliminate legacy systems

  • Lead full stream Agile delivery of MAPP Navigator, US Navigator Plus from user story through release into operations as aligned to industry agile frameworks including project timelines, cadence and risks.

  • Ensure delivery of solutions are on-time, on-budget, and inclusive of the scope committed to the business.

  • Support the solution delivery of logistics systems around the globe including CVENT and Hubli self-service meeting platforms.

  • Balance working across numerous concurrent project teams.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to data privacy, security, and IT operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Computer Science or an affiliated field.

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience progressively increasing responsibility

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence and align technology strategies with business goals.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in agile software development, with a focus on implementing and managing agile methodologies.

  • A "product mindset" with an emphasis on customer-centric, user experience, and value-driven solutions.

  • An "execution mindset" focused on getting things done quickly and simply

  • Excellent project management skills, specifically large scale complex global projects with resources geographically distributed

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic problem-solving environment.

  • Innovative mindset with strong delivery-oriented values.

  • Ability to make sound decisions to resolve complex issues.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Broad knowledge of corporate enterprise systems.

  • Exposure to AI platforms and solutions

  • Hands on Service Delivery and Operations experience

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasional additional hours in the evening or weekends as necessitated by workload, project timelines, or meetings with global vendors and peers

  • Domestic and International travel up to 20%

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.   • The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $105,500.00 to $175,900.00.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
