Role Summary

This is a pivotal role in our organization. In this role you will lead the ongoing globalization of meeting and events tools and processes, while solving for local business problems and securing client satisfaction.

We are looking for a collaborative team player who can deliver strongly on today's needs while being an agent of change - bringing greater levels of self- sufficiency to the business. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Drives the Commercial Client capability development:

  • Increases BU awareness of M&E services & capabilities

  • Activates the local meeting owners (regular meetings, diverse formats - F2F & virtual)

  • Promotes sharing and cross-pollination of info & best practices from other countries / regions

  • Facilitates training for BU colleagues in selected M&E services

  • Partners with the business and enabling functions to identify and address M&E business gaps

  • Enables Self-Service set-up & utilization for selected M&E platforms

  • Leverages the M&E training solutions to help develop and sustain capabilities

  • Ensures continuous improvement and optimization through insights gained from reporting and analytics.

  • Facilitates and supports the local roll-out of regional/global M&E platforms and initiatives, through close partnership with the local market

About you:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required as a minimum

  • Min. 5 years of professional experience

  • Previous M&E experience preferred; healthcare industry experience desirable

Skills and Knowledge

  • Project management and meeting planning management of internal and external meetings, suppliers and contracts

  • Strong vendor management required

  • Budget management

  • Client relationship management both operational and oversight to ensure project is running on time and schedule operationally

  • Excellent communication, presentation and strategic time management skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Flexible and adaptable to work outside of core hours

  • Leading change/transition management experience

  • Ability to work with the Global team to understand and implement new tools and systems as required

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyse information, ability to synthesize problems and develop innovative solutions and strategies.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong facilitation and collaboration skills.

  • Proficient in project management skills. Proven ability to drive execution of strategies.

  • Cvent (worldwide meeting planning tool) experience highly regarded - (RFP sourcing process, registration, budget management, attendee management)

  • Proficient in common technical tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
