Pfizer Business Finance Center Coordinator in Suba, Colombia
The Commercial Finance Center Coordinator will assist the LATAM Center Lead, Center team members, and Market Finance Directors and Business Partners to coordinate the completion of all standard and ad hoc Finance requests within the Center's agreed upon scope and serve as a customer facing point of contact for in-market Commercial Finance and Business colleagues. This role will be responsible for leading projects and activities across Business Units and/or markets teams. This role will also assist in delivery of complex analysis and requests related to assigned P&L responsibilities, such as headcount, compensation, and benefits analysis, platform budgeting and performance analysis, performing COGS calculation for Operating Plan and Latest Estimate, perform Gross to Net and SKU level calculations and perform allocations. Additionally, this role will assist in ad hoc continuous improvement projects.
Coordinate the completion of all standard and ad hoc Market Finance requests within the Center agreed upon scope and Standard Operating Procedures, utilizing financial data to deliver business insights to in-market Commercial Finance colleagues
Prepare and validate complex financial analysis for the assigned P&L discipline
Support the overall strategic planning process through detailed analysis of key business drivers and the preparation and management of standard templates
Ensure timely, efficient, and accurate flow of information for decision-making
Ensure SOP's are up to date for all activities within scope
Identify and manage continuous process improvement initiatives and drive strategic Regional and Functional initiatives
Participate in initial development and optimization of Standard Operating Procedures, as well as continuous improvement efforts
Prepare written preliminary commentary on reports and analysis
Understand and apply knowledge of best practices for financial analysis
Highly analytical with the ability to derive actionable insights and business recommendations from financial analysis
Process-oriented with strong organization and planning skills
Ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions
Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Competency with spreadsheets & financial modeling (comfort with data manipulation and financial systems)
Bachelors required. MBA/Masters Finance/Accounting is preferred.
4+ years' of progressive experience, ideally in an in-market Commercial Finance role with direct interaction with business counterparts, responsible for reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting and forecasting
Excellent problem solving, project management, analytical skills, attention to detail, planning and time management skills
Superior verbal/written communication skills (English fluency)
