Pfizer Aseptic Compliance Supervisor (R2 12hr Nightshift) in Rocky Mount, North Carolina

ROLE SUMMARY

The primary function of this position is to support the aseptic manufacturing areas. The Aseptic Compliance Supervisor is responsible for the sanitation colleagues on the shift. They will need to work with Ops to ensure the seamless planning, execution, and tracking of the completion of sanitation activities to support manufacturing in the R1/R2 facility. The candidate will also be responsible to performing necessary monitoring duties of the aseptic operation to ensure compliance in alignment with site SOPs and regulations. In addition, the candidate must be able to train new and existing colleagues on aseptic principles.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform necessary assessments of aseptic operation and update necessary documents.

  • Able to present media and sanitation programs to auditors.

  • Accumulates key metrics for presentation to Management team, including gowning and aseptic technique observation.

  • Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of cGMPs and emerging regulatory and compliance concerns as related to aseptic manufacturing.

  • Liaise with manufacturing, BQ, maintenance and aseptic trainer to appropriately schedule media fills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires Bachelor's Degree preferably in a technical or science field with 1+ year experience.

  • Requires strong oral, written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • The position is self-directed and requires an appropriate level of education and experience to make and act upon decisions that impact the site from an aseptic standpoint.

  • Requires thorough knowledge of GMP's and ability to handle multiple projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferably 2+ years of supervisory experience.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to function under a stressful situation while being able to remain focused at the necessary requirements. In addition, must be able to appropriately identify and escalate issues on a timely basis.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work on weekend, off shifts and holiday as business demands.
