For our Pfizer office in Prague, Czech Republic we are looking for a Medical Advisor - RARE Diseases.

The person in this position will provide in-house scientific expertise to the cross-functional team and other key stakeholders in support of the customer segment strategy, and act as a critical communicator to key customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Participate in the development and support successful implementation of the cross-functionally aligned operational plan

  • Establish peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs, scientists, clinical and research leaders and institutions in the country to foster Pfizer's efforts to establish and maintain its therapeutic leadership position

  • Support oversight of clinical research, evaluate needs/value of non-interventional studies (NIS) aligned with product and TA strategy, design of NIS protocols, oversight clinical operations, design database/Case Report Form, analyse and interpret data, report data

  • Develop support for independent medical research (IIRs) and manage associated relationships

  • Response medical questions both from internal colleagues and external medical community

  • Actively search for new medical information (Company Medical meetings, congresses, literature)

  • Participate in preparations of promotional materials from medical point of view

  • Train Pharmaceutical Representatives on medical issues

  • Champion compliance and review promotional and non-promotional material

Requirements

  • Preferably Medical University Degree or Pharmaceutical/Nature Science University Degree

  • At least two years of medical experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or related field is an advantage

  • Good knowledge of local medical and regulatory environment

  • Ideally product and therapeutic area knowledge: hemophilia, endocrinology, rare diseases in general

  • Commercial understanding

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as presentation skills

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships

  • Analytical thinking

  • Teamwork and cooperation

  • Proactive and results oriented

  • Knowledge of process and project management is an advantage

  • Driving licence

  • PC literate (MS Office)

  • Fluent in Czech and English
