Inflammation & Immunology Clinical Network representative

Role Purpose :

This role is responsible for selling to key customers and to deliver against all sales metrics

A high level of clinical and product knowledge is required, as well an in depth understanding of the local health economy and how this relates to business opportunities and challenges.

A high degree of cross functional working is required in order to effectively contribute to & deliver the actions and responsibilities in the local heath economy plans

Key Accountabilities

Performance Measures

Implementation of agreed brand strategy

  • High degree of in call effectiveness with different customer types in secondary care

  • Delivery of agreed actions and metrics from LHEPs

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities of the business in the evolving NHS

  • High level of ICE as measured by Field Visits and ICQ assessment.

  • Achievement of LHEP Sales Targets actions

  • Achievement of agreed GPM objectives.

  • Demonstrate an expert insight into the brand environment and its relationship with evolving LHE.

Customer Relations

  • Manage advocacy and local KOL opinion to influence national and regional business.

  • Utilisation of appropriate XF team colleagues to deliver value to customers to drive positive business outcomes

  • Insights and understanding or our customers 'world' and the opportunities and challenges this presents for our brands

  • Accurate recording of customer insights and views on C-view and LHEPs

  • Development of local advocacy plans

  • Adding value with customer interaction to Pfizer/ Customer and Patients

  • Delivery of key customer outcomes contained within the LHEP.

LHEP planning and implementation

  • Working as part of a local XF team, provide insights and inputs into the actions necessary to deliver required brand metrics in LHEP.

  • Interpreting LHEP actions and priorities into personal objectives and milestones

  • Demonstration of business acumen in identifying local opportunities and challenges

  • Demonstrating innovative and bold solutions to LHEP challenges

  • Feedback of relevant market intelligence to LHEP and wider XF teams.

  • Delivery of agreed LHEP actions

  • Evidence of inputs into LHEP planning and implementation

  • Robust planning and management of promotional and T&E budget spends.

  • Integration of wider brand strategies into annual LHE plans

  • Identifying key challenges and opportunities presented by competitors and market pressures and pro-active management of the solutions.

Adapting to change

  • Proactively implement/update of individual development plans.

  • Ownership of individual performance against required metrics both of the role and within the LHEP.

  • Flexibility to change and evolve your CNR deliverables in line with the needs of the local and wider business challenges

  • Objective analysis of individual performance within GPM.

  • Self awareness demonstrated within IDP strengths and development area

  • Adaptability to new metrics and role challenges

Process Management

  • Meeting the required standards for capturing customer interactions and opinion

  • Adherence to all compliance standards

  • Meeting required standards of admin for all other company processes eg. Expenses, P2L

  • Accurate and timely capture of customer contact within C-view

  • Understanding and implementation of required tasks

  • Completion of all relevant ad hoc admin tasks to required deadlines.

Company Equipment/Materials

  • Maintain any company equipment in CNR care.

  • Security - computer/literature not on display in the car.

  • Equipment maintained in good working order.

  • Condition of returned equipment.

Skills, Knowledge; QUALIFICATIONS & Experience

  • Effective selling skills

  • 'A' Level or 'Higher' in science subjects and ideally a Life Science Degree

  • In-depth promoted product knowledge.

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas.

  • In-depth knowledge of Company information systems.

  • ABPI qualification.

  • Ideally relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry prior to becoming an CNR

  • Computer literate - e.g. Email /Word / Excel

  • Effective working knowledge of primary and secondary care NHS structures and relevant customer types.
