Pfizer Manager, Biostatistics (Non in Pearl River, New York
The incumbent's main responsibilities will be to assist in biostatistical analysis; He/She will be interacting one on one with customers to obtain project related data/information and provide project updates as necessary. Provide statistical design, analysis under the guidance of senior Biostatistical managers on critical projects when required. He/She will be expected to write technical reports. He/She will perform all tasks following GLP /GMP regulations as required.
Assist in statistical support of assay development, qualification, validation and throughput conducted by the laboratory personnel including the design, development and execution of data collection, analysis and data reports.
Develop effective collaborations with scientist, project management staff, as well as other functional groups to support projects.
Assist in Biostatistical input in cross project activities such as staff training programs, working procedures, and various departmental operations and initiatives designed to improve efficiency and productivity.
Satisfactorily completes all cGMP/GLP and safety training in conformance with departmental requirements.
Where applicable, performs job responsibilities in compliance with cGMP/GLP and all other regulatory agency requirements.
MS in Statistics with two or more years statistical consulting experience in a laboratory science environment or a manufacturing environment.
Statistical knowledge through coursework and/or d emonstrated statistical application in descriptive and inferential statistics , general linear models, mixed models, and statistical experimental design.
Proficient in SAS Programming (including macro language) with two or more years of experience in SAS Mixed Models Procedures.
Experience in the statistical analysis of research collaboration studies.
Strong communication skills and the ability to write technical reports.
Knowledge in the process and operations of Vaccine products, assay development, reagent qualification, and stability evaluation procedures.
Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Lean Six Sigma.
Sound computational skills R.
