Pfizer CT Associate Scientist, Clinical Testing (Fixed Term) in Pearl River, New York
- The position requires the analyst participation in all High Throughput Clinical Testing (HTCT) activities including but not limited to assay development, clinical testing of vaccine trials, robotic and manual preparation of samples and reagents for preclinical and clinical serology, and biofunctional assays. The position also requires all work to be done in a compliant manner according to SOP(s), GLP, or GMP guidelines, as required. The job also involves performing other tasks as assigned, related to clinical Serology, functional bioassays, ELISA, and Robotics when necessary. As an integral member of this dynamic clinical testing team, the incumbent must have a strong, positive work ethic and be highly collaborative with the other group members. All of the above includes practicing laboratory safety at all times.
Perform all aspects of serological assays, functional bioassay and sample and reagent preparation to support clinical trials and development work.
Provide critical data review of clinical and non-clinical data. Collect, collate and analyze data on a per project basis to support troubleshooting, qualification and other lab projects
Completes required documentation for laboratory work involving sample preparation, serological and bio-functional assays. This includes data organization/review, and qualification documents when relevant. (GLP/GMP)
Perform assays to support critical assay reagent testing and qualification, assay development and troubleshooting.
Assist in ordering supplies from internal inventory and order/prepare reagents/supplies necessary for bio-functional assay work. Assist in updating and writing documents associated with bio-functional assays, including information/data archiving, SOP and status reports
Satisfactorily completes all cGMP/GLP, Power2Learn and safety training in conformance with Departmental requirements.
Where applicable, performs job responsibilities in compliance with GMP/GLP and all other regulatory agency requirements.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
