Pfizer US Abrocitinib Patient Support Ecosystem Lead, Sr. Manager in New York City, New York


This is an exciting opportunity to join a critical launch brand for the I&I business unit, and one of Pfizer's 25 breakthrough products! Abrocitinib, although in pre-launch phase at this time, is an oral JAK inhibitor for moderate to severe Atopic Dermatitis with breakthrough designation and could be Pfizer's first JAK inhibitor in Dermatology. Abrocitinib is expected to become a blockbuster product for Pfizer.

The US Abrocitinib Sr. Manager will play an integral part of the pre-launch and launch activities, creating strategy, launching and managing the execution of a robust Patient Support Ecosystem.

This position will report to the Director, Abrocitinib/Eucrisa Consumer Team Lead.


  • Imagine, design, launch and actively manage robust Patient Support Ecosystem, including:

  • Strategic plan and robust content development that will drive branded and unbranded channels such as websites, SEM/SEO, other rich brand content (patient education, in-pharmacy and in-office materials and beyond)

  • Creation and management of a robust multi-faceted digital CRM program

  • Launch and manage Social Media community providing responsive "social care" patient support

  • Leverage partnership and innovative mindset to create meaningful external relationships and programs with Social Influencers, Digital Media, Advocacy Groups in conjunction with PR and Advocacy Pfizer colleagues. Lead Eczema Awareness Month activities for brand

  • Create and lead innovative early experience patient effort to maximize uptake and generate positive brand experiences in partnership with the HCP and Access teams


The ideal candidate has meaningful US consumer marketing experience. The candidate should demonstrate strong decision-making skills, with a proven track record of success in working in a team-based environment, with multiple marketing and cross-functional partners.

  • BS/BA required, Advanced degree preferred

  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical experience in consumer marketing experience required, launch experience valued

  • Demonstration of strategic and tactical marketing capabilities with proven creative and analytical skills

  • Experience developing and managing digital ecosystem and managing range and volume of assets

  • Thirst for innovation with ability to work in white space (without road map), strong analytical skills, detail oriented, action driven and creative mindset

  • Agency management experience & knows how to "get things done" at Pfizer/large matrixed organization

  • Strong team player

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
