Pfizer Global HR Security and Reporting Lead in New York City, New York
The role is responsible for setting and executing global strategies for HR's application security & access requirements, reporting, and interface needs, and the overall governance for protecting colleague information.
In an environment with competing and shifting priorities, this role will lead, set the objectives & expectations for a team of reporting, security and integrations specialists, tasked with managing HR application security, access approvals, audits, driving the global HR reporting development, and integrations governance, aligned with the HRonDemand business processes and the HR service delivery model.
The scope is enterprise wide and includes Workday, the Global Reporting Warehouse (GRW), any historical HR data repositories, and HR Edge Systems, providing global workforce information internally to the business and COEs as well as externally as legally required. In scope are supporting special projects, Business Development initiatives, and the annual Corporate Audit together with HRBT and the Compliance department.
In support of the business, the individual will closely collaborate globally with HR stakeholders, HRBT, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Security, to provide the appropriate service capabilities and ensures alignment across BUs, in adherence to applicable Data Privacy-, Security- and Integration Compliance standards.
The scope of this global role covers application and platform centric security, reporting and integrations needs for established and new requests, including but not limited to:
all Workday modules, including reports /dashboards,
Global Reporting Warehouse (GRW),
any historic HR data repository,
any relevant HR Edge system.
Accountable for leading HR systems security strategy, roadmap, design, risk assessments and mitigation strategies, role setup/maintenance, access administration, periodic access recertification and monitoring.
Lead integration & interface governance, maintain & enforce guidelines / requirements, manage requests, and the approval and recertification process. As an SME, assess dependencies, provide directions and thought leadership on projects involving upstream and downstream data flows.
Lead the reporting environment/team, developing reporting strategy roadmap, evaluating, designing, and implementing reports, dashboards and scorecards that meet valid business requirements - utilizing broad security and reporting SME expertise. Ensure all reports, dashboards, and integrations meet data security and data privacy requirements and function properly with each Workday release.
Accountable for managing the official monthly corporate global headcount process and for accurate workforce data delivery to the ELT, HRLT, global Business and HR stakeholders. Contribute to Pfizer's required external 10-K reporting and other formal legal / government documents related to headcount.
Partner closely with, and supports HR leadership on sensitive Business Development deals, TSAs, consult / give guidance on appropriate data sources, and deliver on confidential special projects and corporate initiatives i.e. Pfizer Voice.
Support existing corporate Audit processes:
As a SME, define and uphold processes by which new and existing Security Roles are validated and/or modified.
Collaborate with Corporate GIS, HRBT, and Compliance Teams on relevant Audits and addressing findings
Uphold and monitor access termination procedures.
Influence and continuously seek process improvement opportunities for security & reporting, and lead global cross functional partnerships with HR functions, HRBT, Legal, Compliance, and Third-Party / Managed Service Providers.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
8-10+ years of Project Management and Operations experience, 2-4+ years Workday experience
Experience creating and implementing HR security and reporting strategies
Extensive background and hand- on experience in Workday (WD) HCM, WD Reporting, WD Analytics, WD Dashboarding and WD Security setup as well as Business Objects.
Expertise in security governance, process design, data quality / standards, data analytics and statistics, and technology automation across the corporate enterprise
Detailed understanding of HR business processes, data access stewardship, HR programs & policies and service delivery.
Experience in international HR data privacy regulations, including Personal Information/Sensitive Personal Information (PI/SPI), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA)
Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking skills; ability to translate strategy to a tactical, executable level.
Experience leading complex projects and cross functional teams towards alignment.
Ability to work, lead a team as well as influence across a highly matrixed environment; ability to mobilize key internal and external stakeholders and engage both colleagues and senior leadership and to manage Third Party Providers.
Ability to provide motivation, clear direction, coach and engage team members
Ability to resolve escalated issues and problems quickly, efficiently, and independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation and facilitation abilities; experience presenting to executive leadership teams preferred.

Ability to work Monday to Friday in a global environment which will require occasional off-hours conference call.
Ability to support on an exception basis off-hours service delivery escalations and emergencies, or other time sensitive project deliverables.
