Pfizer Director, Abrocitinib HCP Marketing in New York City, New York

ROLE SUMMARY:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a critical launch brand for the I&I business unit, and one of Pfizer's 25 breakthrough products! Abrocitinib, although in pre-launch phase at this time, is an oral JAK inhibitor for moderate to severe Atopic Dermatitis with breakthrough designation and could be Pfizer's first JAK inhibitor in Dermatology. Abrocitinib is expected to become a blockbuster product for Pfizer. The US Abrocitinib HCP Marketing Director will play a critical role on the team and in supporting the development of the launch strategy for HCPs (Derms and Allergists).

The ideal candidate will have had significant marketing expertise and led the advancement of key imperatives in order to maximize brand value. Although launch experience is not required it is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking as well as creativity and decision-making skills, along with a proven track record of success in working in a team-based environment, with multiple marketing and cross-functional partners

This position will report to the US Dermatology Marketing Lead.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead the development of the HCP targeting and segmentation plan to support US launch

  2. Lead the ideation, development, research and finalization of campaign, core US materials and messaging platform in partnership with global

  3. Partner with HCP Lead and team, including the Global Marketing team, to inform and develop the brand strategy to support US launch based on customer insights.

  4. Work closely with Medical on the data evolution and launch plan to support continuous growth for abrocitinib

  5. Lead competitive planning and CI for team

  6. Lead the planning and execution of ad boards to gain critical insights for launch

  7. Lead the RC team and partner with RC to develop regulatory launch strategy

  8. HCP promo agency lead

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA required, Advanced degree highly preferred

  • At least 8-10 years of pharmaceutical experience in marketing experience required

  • Previous launch and in-line US Marketing experience preferred

  • Ability to manage large, complex budgets

  • Demonstrated success in independently developing, executing, and measuring complex HCP marketing programs - both personal and non-personal tactics

  • Proven track record of identifying customer needs, extracting key insights, and translating these into meaningful value propositions, and tactics

  • Confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create, and bring ambiguity into action

  • Demonstrated ability to manage advertising and other agencies to produce communications that impact business performance

  • Solid business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.

  • Strong analytical skills; detail oriented, action driven; and creative

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
