Role Summary and Responsibilities
The R&D Technician is responsible for leading advanced activities related to the Development Services compounding (solution manufacturing), commodity preparation, fabrication and sterilization of materials as work order needs dictate. Work is performed in full conformance with Pfizer Guidelines, Good Laboratory Practices or in compliance with GxP requirements as necessitated by the work. Other duties may include Haz-Mat, Dangerous Goods shipping, receipt, shipment and disposal of controlled substances. The R&D Technician may assist other Development Services technicians or senior staff members in other areas of the operation as needed.

Assist with Complex Product, Process Development, Hazardous Material, Dangerous Goods, Waste Transport
Associates degree with a minimum of 2 years experience or High School Diploma and College level course work with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience. This position requires experience working within an FDA regulated environment, pharmaceutical a plus. Candidate should have an intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
CDA, Haz-Mat, 49CFR, IATA, ICAO, FAA certifications a plus.
