The position will primarily support the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) portfolio with opportunity to also contribute broadly to small molecule focused programs.
How You Will Achieve It
As part of a gene-to-structure team within SBPS, the successful candidate will carry out, as needed, a full range of gene-to-structure and protein sciences experiments (including construct design, protein engineering, expression, purification, biophysical characterization, and structure determination by crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy) to advance multiple ADC drug discovery projects and science objectives in parallel.
The successful candidate will collaborate and interact with colleagues across the SBPS group and Medicinal Chemistry and Computational Chemistry groups in Bothell, WA, and La Jolla, CA, and will be an SBPS discipline resource in multi-disciplinary drug discovery team settings, contributing to robust and timely team problem solving and decision making. Occasional travel to Pfizer Bothell, WA is required.
