Pfizer Scientist, Molecular Design, Profiling and Production (Biomedicine Design) in Cambridge, Massachusetts
We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join the Molecular Assessment and Profiling group in BioMedicine Design. This individual will provide in-depth physicochemical, thermal and colloidal stability assessment for a wide range of biotherapeutic modalities. This person will be responsible for data analysis and presentation of experiment results to research teams. Successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team's deliverables.
Perform physicochemical, thermal and colloidal stability assessment of biotherapeutic candidates using a suite of established assays
Critically analyze experiment data and present results to project research teams
Proper experiment documentations in electronic notebook
Collaborate with group members to drive technology innovation; evaluate new technologies and instrumentations
BA with 10+ years or MS with 5+ years of relevant experience in Biochemistry, Biophysics or related discipline
Good understanding of protein biochemistry and stability
Familiar with various protein characterization methods and analytical biochemistry techniques such as aSEC, DSC, CGE, cIEF and DLS
Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
- Prior experience in therapeutic protein discovery and biochemistry research
