Pfizer Admin Lead, Biomedicine Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The BMD Cambridge administrative lead provides administrative and business operations support to the head of the department and BMD Cambridge leadership team. This includes calendar/meeting maintenance, travel planning/booking and expense reports. Additionally, the lead will serve as a subject matter expert for common Pfizer operational and business tools, providing guidance and help to Cambridge colleagues

  • Responsible for administrative and operational support for BMD Cambridge, primarily the BMD Head and the BMD Cambridge Leadership Team (LT)

  • Serves as a knowledgeable resource to scientific colleagues in BMD, providing guidance and training for commonly used business tools and systems for appointment scheduling, purchasing, travel and expense

  • Communicates and collaborates with BMD Administrative colleagues across all locations

  • Plan and support Cambridge team building events, workshops, and seminar series

  • Demonstrates personal initiative and judgment in managing and prioritizing workload, and delivers business and operational support according to agreed-upon timelines. Ability to renegotiate and communicate new timelines as needed.

  • A continuous improvement mindset-identifies opportunities to streamline work processes, increase efficiencies and identify value-added business contributions to BMD.

  • Proactively identifies and resolves potential problems, even in ambiguous situations.

  • Completes complex assignments independently, delivering high quality administrative and business support to BMD Cambridge.

Associates degree with 8 - 10 years' experience

High school diploma with a minimum of 10 years' experience
