Pfizer Medical Digital Innovation Manager in Beijing, China
The Medical Digital Innovation Manager (MDIM) plays a key role in medical innovative strategy development and implementation via digital way.
MDIM is responsible for leading the cross-functional project team to come up with bold, new industry-leading and medical-driven solutions to enable Pfizer to thrive in this increasingly dynamic healthcare environment. Especially for increasing patient awareness for disease prevention and treatment, delivering greater health impact, and ensuring broader business model innovation.
MIM will focus on Patient-centricity and do this by exploring disruptive approaches and using new technology to have an even greater impact on public health, benefitting patients, healthcare systems, and society overall.
Lead the medical team in developing innovative strategies to increase the engagement of internal and external stakeholders and meet their different needs in a cost effective and innovative communicating way;
Develop new business models by combining medical knowledge with new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, cognitive techniques, and cooperating with the world's leading technical companies;
Lead the development of multi-media patient education materials, transforming the traditional medical knowledge into attractive materials, in order to maximize medical team value and enhance the public health awareness in China;
Apply high-end technology such as artificial intelligence in categorizing the stakeholders, distinguishing the medical needs from HCPs, KOLs, patients, public and potential customers, coordinating with MA and MSL to prepare the specific, customized medical content for them, and delivering it in a proper innovative method;
Launch medical innovating projects according to the alignment and coordination with global medical and China Mkt/sales. Regularly communicate with the medical and Mkt leadership team. Optimize the medical innovating strategies and projects;
Cooperating with BT, Mkt, sales, MA, MSL, manage and implement the innovating medical projects (time management, budget management, colleagues and vendor's personnel arrangement, risk assessment, problem solution, internal and external communication, cooperation), ensuring that the projects can run smoothly and effectively;
Master the global and local company policies, regulation and SOP, good coordination with legal/compliance colleagues, ensuring that medical innovating projects are carried out legally and smoothly;
Based on knowledge in terms of field status quo and demands, predict the future of this field, explore transformative, pioneering medical innovation and its business impact. Keep Pfizer's advanced, position, and leading role in pharmaceutical field.
REQUIRED SKILL SET
Comprehensive and professional knowledge in terms of pharma-industry business operation, development trends and China healthcare policies;
Familiar with the disease and clinical practice in therapy;
Ability to work in cross-functional and interdisciplinary communication;
Insightful appreciation of varied stakeholders needs given the changing and challenging healthcare environment;
Strong acumen for new technologies and new platforms;
Strategic and logical thinking;
Strong leadership and organizing capabilities in terms of decision making, problem solving, planning and implementing;
Information analyzing skills and presenting skills;
Language: Proficiency in English (oral & written) and Chinese mandarin.
Ability to develop medical innovating strategies and projects;
Excellent project management skills to ensure the efficiency of implementation of strategic plans;
Exceptional partner and stakeholder relationship management (Internal: BT/Mkt/sales/MA/MSL/legal/compliance ； External: HCPs/KOLs/Patients/Public...);
Strong leadership and interdisciplinary organizing capabilities.
Master or doctoral degree in medical related major;
Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
At least 5-year medical department experience of pharmaceutical industry;
Extensive experience in innovative project management in terms of planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and control;
Rich experience in internal and external communication and cooperation.
