Director， China Compliance
Compliance Director - China (Beijing/Shanghai) manages proactive compliance programs and initiatives, and provides compliance related advice and support within PEH China market. Responsibilities focused on supporting compliance initiatives and working with the PEH China Compliance Lead in directing and managing policies, local SOPs, programs and practices to ensure compliant business operations.
Work with PEH China Compliance Lead to develop, direct and / or manage proactive compliance programs and projects in China.
Partner with PEH Marketing Lead and her/his LT to enhance the compliance awareness and provide strategic compliance support for marketing strategy roll-out and innovative business model, including digital and multichannel marketing.
Provide compliance country SOP related advice to PEH China business teams
Lead various compliance initiatives (e.g. external funding excellence project) and compliance committees within PEH to address key compliance matters together with local Business Leaders, Legal, Finance, Medical and others.
Provide insightful end-to-end compliance analysis for key business activities and projects, including pre-event, in process and post-event assessment. When needed, participate in relevant communications with associations and vendors.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Medical and other functions to develop and maintain appropriate monitoring and controls over business activities. Oversight the operation of related monitoring system and programs.
Work with PEH China Compliance Lead in developing and implementing in-country compliance risk diagnosis/assessments and management strategies.
Monitor docket of Referable Compliance Issues (RCIs) and provide on the ground support in remediation efforts for investigation cases and audit findings.
Coordinate with Corporate Compliance and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective management and resolution of investigations, and to identify trends within PEH China.
Work with other relevant functions and develop effective training program on relevant topics and provide guidance to junior colleagues.
Facilitate and conduct (when needed) on the ground compliance training on healthcare compliance, relevant laws and Company policies and procedures, including FCPA and the Company's Anti-Bribery Procedures.
Work with PEH China Compliance Lead to prepare/plan/execute/lead executive update for headquarter and senior business leaders.
Other compliance related affairs as directed and designated by PEH China Compliance Lead from time to time, including but not limited to project based or other per need basis compliance support, participate in the PIH/PCH compliance related project to develop and align for company wise compliance process, SOP and control mechanism, potential work for compliance projects of other BU if necessary. Qualifications:
University degree in legal, finance, business, or other professional areas.
Master's degree preferred.
12+ years of experience in compliance, legal, business operations, program management and control related functions.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to resolve complex matters in a responsive way.
Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.
Excellent drafting, writing and oral communication in both Chinese and English, strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a global environment.
Ability to well manage work under a matrix organization structure and comparably complicated environment.
Ad hoc travel is expected.
