The Director of Cross-Portfolio Strategy & Projects of PBG China will be responsible for the development of timely and actionable insights across the entire portfolio of PBG. The director will lead and conduct the analysis of integrated competitive intelligence and market research data from multiple sources to produce and clearly communicate streamlined, actionable insights to support new go-to-market model pilots, portfolio development/enhancements, business development, marketing and sales decisions. The role will support on Business Optimization & Innovation Lead to explore cross portfolio business models and advance the China PBG operation effectiveness through cross function and global project management activities, encompassing sales strategic planning, execution and follow-up. The director will be responsible for the innovative and tactical business model development through comparing with Pharma industrial benchmark and integrate internal business best practices.
By bringing strong coordination facilitation, influencing skills and effective project management practices, the Director will help to ensure the success of a broad variety of projects and programs. The Director need to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail along with excellent written, verbal and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation, mental agility, influencing and relationship building skills.
Propose the innovative and tactical business model development through comparing with Pharma industrial benchmark and integrate internal business best practices;
Responsible for analyzing of competitive intelligence and marketing research to support all aspects of the PBU China cross portfolio business; Integrate competitive intelligence and market research data from multiple sources to produce and clearly communicate streamlined, actionable insights to support new go-to-market model pilots, portfolio development/enhancements, business development, marketing and sales decisions;
Provide analyses, insights and recommendations to guide high level decisions affecting product development, innovative business model and current business operational practice;
Lead country level innovative cross-portfolio and cross-functional projects, incl. project design, cross functional coordination and alignment, budget management, KPI monitoring, and the implementation, to evaluate and maximize the value of innovative models.
Works with internal customers to assure that Strategic Research are being communicated and effectively used to meet corporate goals and objectives;
Lead and conduct the Competitive Intelligence process to provide actionable insights, intelligence and recommendations to senior management, cross portfolio management and other key stakeholders relative to the market and competitive landscape identifying opportunities and threats that could impact the industry and our business
Develop holistic and predictive market and competitive landscape assessments based on thorough analysis of internal and external business issues using accepted analytical methodologies and insure the integration of intelligence and continuous improvement deliverables into brand and sales planning, forecasting and corporate decisions.
