Pfizer / Associate Regulatory Policy Manager in Beijing, China
The Associate Regulatory Policy Manager is responsible for, according to line manager-China Regulatory Policy Lead's assignment, collecting, disseminating, archiving and analyzing a wide range of regulatory intelligence, which is important to Pfizer regulatory business. This role helps facilitate the creation of Pfizer's position on critical regulatory policy issues and promotes alignment within Pfizer.
The Associate Regulatory Policy Manager will work in conjunction with China Regulatory Policy Lead on the advocacy actions either through trade or through professional associations, and with relevant regulators.
The position of Associate Regulatory Policy Manager also provides regulatory policy support to other function groups internal and external to better support Pfizer business goal.
With the Key Result Areas & Job Activities /Tasks as below.
Assist line manager to develop close internal working relationship with China regulatory project team, Medical, Legal, GMC, GRPI, and other primary stakeholders to prioritize regulatory advocating activities, and maximize business value.
Disseminate regulatory intelligence and policy information to primary stakeholders.
Analyze significant regulatory policy issues and trends that will impact Pfizer China regulatory business with immediate timeframe.
Work in conjunction with line manager to facilitate the creation and dissemination of Pfizer's regulatory policy position on critical topics, as needed.
Take action to build and maintain relationship with China health authority policy decision-makers in order to support Pfizer's reputation as a collaborative partner and thought leader, and to positively impact regulatory policy advocacy.

Education Tertiary qualifications in pharmacy or a science degree with a pharmacology or other related major
At least 4 years experience in regulatory affairs working
Good working knowledge of international and local regulatory guidelines and codes
Understanding of the China regulatory environment
Proficiency in Basic Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
